The Healthy Monday movement has spread to campuses all over the country! Fall 2009 programs have launched at St. John’s University (NY), Cabrini College (PA), and Suffolk University (MA). St. John's University

Chartwells at St John’s University in Queens offers colorful and informative nutrition news for the entire St. John’s community. Features include timely healthy eating tips, a Q & A with Executive Chef Vince Picciotto and Healthy Monday tips.

Cabrini College – Healthy Monday

Cabrini College

The Monday Health Hut is the hub for wellness activities at Cabrini College where students participate in Monday Mile walks and Make-it-Monday cooking demos. The Office of Health and Wellness Education also sponsors weekly workshops on a variety of health topics including flu prevention, positive mental health and tobacco cessation.

Suffolk University – Healthy Monday

Students at Suffolk University are starting their Healthy Monday adventure this year with multiple wellness events and activities planned for the entire semester. Free yoga and zumba classes are offered as well as a chance to sign up for health tips to keep students motivated!

Syracuse University – Healthy Monday

The Orange Television Network at Syracuse University encourages students and faculty to make healthy changes in their lives with the award-winning, campus-based Healthy Show. Students are big health-raisers off-screen, too, with a full calendar of Healthy Monday events every week – from Monday Yoga and Zen Meditation to Monday Mutts dog-walking!

Northern Kentucky University – Healthy Monday

Do the Monday Mile

Students, faculty and staff at Northern Kentucky University kick-start their week with Healthy Monday reminders and motivate each other by sharing their Monday stories. Based in the Wellness Center, but radiating throughout the campus, Healthy Monday supplies students with the resources, information, programs and events they need to live healthy at NKU and beyond.

Johns Hopkins University – S.E.E. FOR YOURSELF MONDAY

Sleep Healthy, Eat Healthy, Exercise!

T-shirts, buttons and messages on screens across campus urge students at Johns Hopkins University to SEE (Sleep, Eat, and Exercise) for themselves. Challenges range from getting a full night’s sleep to fighting climate change by going meatless on Mondays. Studies show that when students keep rest, fitness and nutrition in balance, their chances for success improve – now and for years to come.

Fashion Institute of Technology – “FIT FOR THE BEACH”

Pedometers, nutrition information and Monday messages keep participating fashionistas on track to reach their health goals and feel FIT FOR THE BEACH. Plans are underway to launch this 8-week initiative, featuring Move It Monday and Eat Healthy Monday.
